Couture Cardstock-Friday March 26th Challenge

Todays challenge over at Couture Cardstock here is to use some sort of medium (i.e. Glossy Accents, Mod Podge or Glimmer Mist etc.).

I made this ATC titled "Dedicated To Motheres & Daughtersof my great-grandmother and grandmother,  Mary & Myrtle.  I layered the torn designer paper with the torn photocopy, and adhered them with Mod Podge.  Then I coated the top with another layer of MP, which gives it a slight sheen.  The tags are printed on vellum trimmed with decorative scissor, and the ATC is finished with a piece of ribbon through a buckle slide.

Thanks for looking!

Couture Cardstock National Craft Month Celebration

I had the most wonderful day today.  I spent it with my dear friend Debbie at her house for a day of crafting.  Time sure did fly by quickly, but I wanted to be sure to get a project done for Couture Cardstocks challenge for today, which was to use masking on a project.  Debbie supplied me with just about everything I needed...beautiful chipboard back, dp paper, flourish stamp for center strip, the bird and tree mask and of course TA Glimmer Mist.  We both made some of the cute paper flowers that are the rage right now, and I added my green misted one, the ribbon handle and word stickers when I got home.

I had been hoping to try one of Couture Cardstock challenges and was so happy to finally get the time today to make something.  If any of you would like your chance to win some of their papers, head over to their blog at http://www.couturecardstock.com/blog as they are having "daily" challenges the entire month of March in celebration of National Craft Month.

Have a glorious weekend!
